Yordan Ruben Alvarez is a Cuban professional baseball designated hitter and left fielder for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Astros. Alvarez stands 6 ft 5 in, weighs 237 pounds, bats left-handed and throws right-handed. He is a three-time All-Star.
