North Aceh Regency is a regency in Aceh Province - which was formerly called the Aceh special territory in 1959–2001, and then Nanggroë Aceh Darussalam in 2001–2009, before reverting to Aceh Province in 2009. It is located on the island of Sumatra. From Wikipedia
