10-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shot Over Lost Bike Race

Victim's mother alleges the shooter, also a 10-year-old, used his father's stolen gun; both the father and son are now in custody.

Keith Frierson, a 10-year-old boy from California, was allegedly shot dead by another 10-year-old over a lost bike race.
The alleged shooter, who has not been named due to his age, reportedly found the gun in his father's car while retrieving cigarettes for him.
The father, Arkete Davis, is suspected of attempting to dispose of the weapon in a nearby garbage can following the incident.
Davis, who was legally prohibited from owning a firearm due to his status as a former felon, is now facing charges of child endangerment, accessory after the fact, and several felony firearm-related charges.
The alleged shooter has been charged with murder and is currently held in a juvenile detention facility.
