104-Year-Old Chicago Woman Dies Days After Record-Breaking Skydive

year-old Dorothy Hoffner of Chicago set the world record on October 1 as the oldest person to skydive at age 104.
She made a tandem jump from 13,500 feet with an instructor in Ottawa, Illinois.
Hoffner passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 9, just over a week after her record-setting skydive.
She was described as energetic, sharp, and adventurous, making her first skydive at age 100.
Her friend is working to have her posthumously certified by Guinness World Records as the oldest skydiver.
