12-Year-Old Arrested After Driving Stolen Car 160 Miles Across Washington

A 12-year-old boy stole his grandfather's car in Issaquah, Washington, and drove 161 miles across the state before being apprehended by police.
The boy was headed to Moses Lake in Grant County, where he had a connection, according to authorities.
Police located the vehicle parked in Moses Lake and initiated a brief pursuit when the boy attempted to flee in the car.
The chase ended when deputies used a PIT maneuver to safely stop the vehicle; no injuries were reported, and vehicle damage was minimal.
The boy is currently in custody at the Chelan County Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding.
