13 dead, 24 injured after fire in Spanish nightclubs ordered to close

A fire broke out in a nightclub complex in Murcia, Spain, killing 13 people and injuring 24.
The nightclubs had permits rejected in 2022 and ordered to close due to lack of licensing.
The fire started around 6am Sunday and quickly spread between the adjoining nightclubs.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Spanish authorities.
This is the deadliest nightclub fire in Spain since 1990.
