138,000 Platform Beds Recalled Due to Collapse Risk

The recall affects Lucid-branded beds sold at major retailers in the U.S. and Canada, following reports of injuries.

CVB Inc. is recalling nearly 138,000 Lucid-branded platform beds with upholstered square tufted headboards.
The beds, which were manufactured between 2019 and 2021, can sag, break, or collapse during use.
To date, 245 incidents have been reported in the U.S., resulting in 18 injuries such as contusions and bruises.
An additional 11 reports have been made in Canada, though no injuries have been reported there.
Consumers are advised to stop using the beds immediately and contact Lucid for a free replacement frame.
