Police noticed the vehicle swerving on the Bundesstraße 3 and attempted to pull it over, but the driver fled at speeds of up to 100 km/h.
The chase lasted approximately one kilometer before officers safely stopped the car at a city intersection.
The boy’s mother, who believed her son was asleep at home, was informed of the incident after the teens were detained and returned to their guardians.
No injuries or property damage occurred during the incident, but the 15-year-old now faces charges for conducting an illegal vehicle race.
