Mumbai Police arrested Mohammed Tayyab in Noida for allegedly issuing death threats to Salman Khan and MLA Zeeshan Siddique.
The threats were reportedly made to Zeeshan Siddique's office, demanding a ransom for the safety of both Siddique and Khan.
Zeeshan Siddique is the son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was murdered on October 12, allegedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Salman Khan has faced previous threats from the same gang, leading to increased security measures around him.
Zeeshan Siddique has filed his nomination for the Maharashtra assembly elections, receiving support from Salman Khan and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP.
