Paramedics attempted CPR at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old North Adelaide man, who has been charged with murder and is set to appear in court.
Detective Inspector Fraser Huntley reported blood at the scene but stated the circumstances surrounding its presence remain unclear.
Authorities are appealing to the public for witnesses or dashcam footage from the area between 6am and 8am to assist in reconstructing the victim’s final moments.
