2024 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference Kicks Off in Guizhou, China

The conference aims to promote sustainable mountain tourism through innovative strategies and high-level international cooperation.

The event opened on September 26, 2024, in Xingyi City, Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province.
Two significant research results were unveiled: 'Climate Change and Mountain Tourism Response Strategies' and 'World Famous Mountains for Tourism -- Recognition Standards'.
The conference features three major events: the opening ceremony, the Asian Mountain Tourism Promotion Conference, and the Wanfenglin Hiking Event for 10,000 participants.
Hosted by the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA) and organized by the IMTA Secretariat and the People's Government of Qianxinan Prefecture.
Nearly 400 guests, including international representatives, tourism experts, and media, attended the opening ceremony.
