21-Year-Old Chicago Woman Fatally Shot at Stone Park Nightclub

Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman during a fight at Mansion Nightclub, with the suspect released pending further investigation.

A 21-year-old Chicago woman was shot and killed early Saturday at Mansion Nightclub in Stone Park, Illinois.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the woman was pronounced dead at 3:06 a.m. on March 8, ruling her death a homicide.
Stone Park Police reported that the woman was struck by a single gunshot fired by a nightclub security guard during a fight inside the venue.
The security guard involved was taken into custody but later released pending further investigation by authorities.
Mansion Nightclub issued a statement expressing heartbreak over the incident and announced its closure on Saturday night to support the community and aid the investigation.
