24th Arrest Made in Baba Siddique Murder Case

Mumbai and Punjab police collaborate to apprehend Akashdeep Gill, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister, was assassinated on October 12 near his son's office in Bandra, Mumbai.
The murder was reportedly planned shortly after a shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence, with Siddique being a close associate of the actor.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly orchestrated the murder using an illegal communication system known as 'dabba calling' to coordinate the attack.
Akashdeep Gill, the 24th suspect, was arrested near the Indo-Pak border in Punjab, accused of providing logistical support to the shooters.
The investigation continues as authorities seek to apprehend key suspects still at large and further unravel the gang's operations.
