4-Year-Old California Boy Found Safe After 22 Hours Alone in Wilderness

Christian Ramirez was discovered by search teams a quarter mile from his family's campsite in Sierra National Forest.

A search-and-rescue team of over 50 officers and volunteers located him under a tree on Friday morning.
The boy was tired, hungry, and had minor sunburn and bug bites but was otherwise in good health.
Rescue efforts included aerial searches, dogs, and assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies.
Authorities and the family expressed relief and gratitude for the successful rescue.
