7-Year-Old Boy Killed by Stray Bullet During Florida Boat Ramp Dispute

A 7-year-old boy visiting from New Jersey was fatally shot in the head during an argument over reckless jet ski driving at a Tampa boat ramp.
The boy's grandfather was also injured trying to shield him, and their truck was hit by gunfire.
Two groups of Hispanic males began arguing and shooting after one group complained about the jet skis being driven too close to children playing in the water.
The shooting occurred on the Fourth of July near the Courtney Campbell Causeway as the boy and his family were planning to watch fireworks.
No arrests have been made, and police are urging witnesses to come forward with any information.
