706 Kyles Gather in Texas but Fall Short of World Record

For the fifth consecutive year, the city of Kyle's attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest same-name gathering was unsuccessful.

706 people named Kyle gathered in Kyle, Texas, aiming to surpass the record set by 2,325 Ivans in Bosnia in 2017.
The event, known as the 'Gathering of the Kyles,' has become an annual tradition in the city.
This year's turnout was significantly lower than last year's count of 1,490 Kyles.
Participants had to have the first name Kyle spelled identically to the city's name to be counted.
Despite falling short, the event brought together Kyles from various age groups and backgrounds.
