AC Milan Dismisses Technical Directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara

AC Milan announced that they were dismissing technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara.
The club's new owner, Gerry Cardinale, told Maldini in a meeting that he wanted to use a different recruitment strategy so their services were no longer needed.
Maldini played his entire 25-year career for Milan and helped the club win 7 Serie A titles and 5 Champions Leagues as a player.
As technical director, Maldini was instrumental in bringing young talents to the club like Theo Hernandez, Rafael Leao and Fikayo Tomori which helped Milan win their first Serie A title in 11 years this past season.
Massara, the club's sporting director since 2019, also played an important role in Milan's recent success and recruitment of top young players.
