Actor Noel Clarke Faces Detailed Allegations of Sexual Misconduct in High Court Libel Trial

Actress Penelope testified that Noel Clarke made unwanted sexual advances and comments during the filming of a sex scene, including asking her to look at his exposed body while the crew was absent.
Penelope also alleged that Clarke's erect penis made physical contact with her during the scene, which she described as distressing and unwanted.
Clarke denies all allegations, asserting that any nudity or exposure during filming was for artistic purposes and claiming that the incidents described by Penelope did not occur.
Additional witnesses, including Thalia Hambi-Fisher and Hugh Sherlock, have provided statements alleging inappropriate behavior by Clarke in separate incidents.
The trial, which centers on Clarke's defamation lawsuit against The Guardian for its reporting on allegations from 20 women, is set to conclude in April 2025, with a written decision to follow.
