Affordable Udaan Yatri Cafe Opens at Chennai Airport Following Parliamentary Push

The Ministry of Civil Aviation launched Udaan Yatri Cafes at Kolkata and Chennai airports, providing affordable options for travelers, including tea for ₹10 and water bottles for the same price.
Chadha highlighted exorbitant airport prices, such as ₹100 for bottled water and ₹200-250 for tea, urging the government to establish budget-friendly alternatives.
The Chennai outlet follows the success of the pilot project in Kolkata, which was inaugurated during the celebration of 100 years of the Kolkata airport.
Chadha expressed gratitude for the initiative on social media, calling it a 'positive step' and encouraging continued efforts to make airports more accessible for the public.
