AGDQ 2025 Begins January 5 with Speedruns, Musical Challenges, and Awful Games Block

The annual charity speedrunning event will feature unique gameplay showcases and raise funds for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2025 will run from January 5 to January 11/12, streaming 24/7 on the GamesDoneQuick Twitch channel.
The event will feature creative speedruns, including Elden Ring controlled by a saxophone and Crazy Taxi with a live band accompaniment.
Highlights include a six-hour Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth run, a Fallout: New Vegas 'All Romances' category, and a Breath of the Wild two-player, one-controller challenge.
The infamous 'awful block' will showcase notoriously bad games like Superman 64 and Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, celebrating gaming's quirkiest history.
Proceeds will benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation, continuing AGDQ's tradition of raising millions for charitable causes.
