Alameda County Investigators Renew Call for Leads in 2003 Angelo Ravella Killing

Authorities seek public assistance in solving the unsolved drive-by shooting of a young mechanic celebrating his achievements.

Angelo Ravella, 22, was killed in a drive-by shooting on March 28, 2003, in San Lorenzo, California, while sitting in a truck with a friend.
The suspect vehicle, a 1980s Cadillac with four or five occupants, was last seen fleeing the scene on Via Chiquita.
Investigators describe the suspected shooter as a white or Latino man, aged 18 to 25, with possible facial hair and wearing a black beanie cap.
The case, which was featured on 'America’s Most Wanted' and included a $50,000 reward offered in 2008, remains unsolved despite being reopened in 2017.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office is actively encouraging public tips through its cold case unit and anonymous tip line to advance the investigation.
