Alleged Con Artist Extradited to Northern Ireland for £130,000 Fraud

Marianne Smyth, accused of posing as an Irish heiress and psychic, faces multiple charges of theft and fraud.

Smyth allegedly defrauded victims in Northern Ireland between 2008 and 2010 while working as a mortgage advisor.
She is accused of stealing over $170,000 by promising to invest clients' money but instead keeping it.
Victims included a reality TV producer who later exposed her schemes through a podcast.
Smyth, who used multiple aliases and changed her appearance, was arrested in Maine and extradited in February.
Northern Ireland authorities had been seeking her arrest since 2009 after she fled the country.
