Amazon to Start Selling Hyundai Vehicles Online from 2024

Partnership to Include Built-In Alexa in Hyundai Vehicles from 2025

Amazon and Hyundai have announced a partnership that will allow customers to buy Hyundai vehicles online through Amazon from 2024.
Customers will be able to choose, customise and buy a Hyundai vehicle and schedule delivery through a local dealer.
Hyundai will be the first brand available for purchase on Amazon, but it is expected that more vehicle manufacturers will be added over time.
Shares in rival and traditional car dealers fell following the announcement, with online used-car retailer Carvana dropping as much as 9%.
As part of the partnership, Hyundai vehicles will also have Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant built-in starting in 2025.
