Amit Shah Begins Three-Day Visit to Assam and Mizoram for Key Events

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jorhat, Assam, to kick off a three-day visit to Assam and Mizoram focused on regional development and security initiatives.
Shah will inaugurate new facilities at the Lachit Barphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, which has become a prominent law enforcement training center in India.
The Lachit Barphukan Police Academy will now also train personnel from Goa, Bhutan, and other regions, showcasing its advanced infrastructure and training capabilities.
In Mizoram, Shah will attend a ceremony marking the relocation of Assam Rifles establishments from Aizawl's city center to a designated complex in Zokhawsang.
Shah's itinerary includes addressing the annual conference of the All Bodo Students' Union in Kokrajhar and reviewing the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita with northeastern state leaders.
