Ancient Mayan Ball Game Scoreboard Found Intact at Chichen Itza Site

Archaeologists discovered a circular stone scoreboard used for an ancient Mayan ball game at the Chichen Itza archaeological site.
Dating from 800 to 900 AD, the scoreboard measures over 32 centimeters across and weighs 40 kilograms.
The scoreboard displays hieroglyphics depicting two ball players and a ball, providing new insights into the cultural practices of the pre-Columbian Mayan civilization.
Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of the largest ancient Mayan cities and attracts approximately 2 million tourists annually.
