Angel City FC fires coach Freya Coombe midway through inaugural season

Angel City FC has fired coach Freya Coombe.
The decision comes halfway through Angel City's second NWSL season with the team currently in last place.
Coombe was hired in 2021 to lead the new Los Angeles-based expansion franchise.
Assistant coach Becki Tweed will serve as interim head coach.
The move comes amid a six-match winless streak for Angel City.
