Antetokounmpo and James Lead in Final Returns of NBA All-Star Voting

Antetokounmpo Tops Overall Votes, James Leads West, and Haliburton and Doncic Lead East and West Backcourt Voting Respectively

Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James continue to lead the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively in the final returns of fan voting for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
Antetokounmpo was the leading vote-getter overall with more than 4 million votes, while James led the West with 3.9 million votes.
Joining Antetokounmpo atop the East frontcourt voting were Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, while James was followed by Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant in the West.
In the backcourts, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton remains the only East guard with over 2 million votes, while Luka Doncic crested over the 3 million vote mark in the West.
Fan voting accounts for 50% of the formula used to select the All-Star starters, along with voting by the media (25%) and NBA players (25%).
