Anti-Flag’s Justin Sane Sued for Alleged Rape of Fan in 2010

Lawsuit also implicates band's distribution company, Hardwork Distribution, Inc., for negligence and failure to protect fans.

Justin Sane, real name Justin Geever, of the now-disbanded punk rock group Anti-Flag, has been sued for the alleged rape of a fan in 2010.
The lawsuit was filed by Kristina Sarhadi, a New York holistic therapist and health coach, who claims Geever used his platform to groom and lure vulnerable girls.
Sarhadi alleges that Geever invited her to his motel room under the pretense of listening to an unreleased song, where he then assaulted her.
The lawsuit also names Hardwork Distribution, Inc., the distribution arm of Anti-Flag’s A-F Records, arguing they should have known about Geever's alleged misconduct and had a duty to protect fans.
The lawsuit was filed under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which allows victims of sexual offenses to file a civil suit against their abuser regardless of the statute of limitations.
