'Apolonia, Apolonia' Tops International Documentary Awards Nominations

'Apolonia, Apolonia' leads the 2023 International Documentary Awards nominations with four nods, including Best Feature Documentary, Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Writing.
Other top nominees include 'The Mother of All Lies' and 'Milisuthando', each with three nominations.
Nominees for Best Feature Documentary represent a diverse range of countries, including India, Colombia, Denmark, Uganda, Poland, South Africa, the United States, Morocco, and the United Kingdom.
The awards will be announced at a virtual ceremony on December 12, 2023.
The nominees were selected by independent committees of 280 documentary makers, curators, critics and industry experts from 40 countries, from a total of 669 submissions from 48 countries.
