Apple Music Classical, launched in March 2023, is now available through web browsers at classical.music.apple.com, eliminating the need for a dedicated app on desktops.
The platform provides access to over 5 million classical music tracks at no additional cost for Apple Music subscribers.
To celebrate the web launch, Apple released an exclusive recording of Julius Eastman’s Symphony No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2, performed by the Cleveland Orchestra under Franz Welser-Möst, available for six weeks.
The service offers specialized search features tailored to classical music, allowing users to search by composer, conductor, opus number, and more.
Apple Music Classical supports high-resolution lossless audio and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, enhancing the listening experience for audiophiles.
