Apple Releases Surprise iOS 16 Security Update to Patch Undisclosed Vulnerabilities

Apple has used its Rapid Security Response feature for the first time by releasing an update with security improvements for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Apple released its first batch of publicly available "rapid security" patches on Monday.
The updates are available to download and install through the standard update process on respective devices.
The patch caused initial issues with iPhones showing as "offline".
Users should update their iPhones to iOS 16.4.1 (a) as soon as possible to keep their devices secure.
