Rahman's son, AR Ameen, shared on Instagram that his father is doing well after the hospital visit and expressed gratitude for fans' support.
His estranged wife, Saira Banu, issued a statement wishing him a speedy recovery and clarified they are separated but not divorced.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also inquired about Rahman's health, with doctors assuring he is fine and back home.
