Archer Aviation secures new funding, settles lawsuit with Boeing's Wisk

Archer Aviation raised $215 million in new funding from investors including Stellantis, Boeing, United Airlines, and ARK Investment Management.
Total funding for Archer Aviation has now reached over $1.1 billion.
Archer aims to get FAA certification and start commercial eVTOL operations in 2025.
Archer settled lawsuits filed in 2021 by Boeing's air taxi company Wisk over alleged theft of trade secrets and patent infringement.
The new funding includes an acceleration of $70 million from Stellantis, with which Archer will collaborate on autonomous flight.
