Austin's Giddy Ups Celebrates Late Owner Nancy Morgan with Weekend Event

Nearly 30 Artists to Perform in Honor of Morgan's Contribution to South Austin's Music Scene

Giddy Ups, a small neighborhood bar in South Austin, is hosting a celebration of life for its late owner, Nancy Morgan, who passed away last October.
Nearly 30 of Morgan's favorite artists will perform at the event, which aims to continue the old South Austin vibes that Morgan cultivated over three decades.
Morgan's son, Mike Morgan, will kick off the event with a bluesy Friday night performance, followed by an all-day Saturday event headlined by the Pearl Snaps and the Bently/Casner Band.
The event will conclude on Sunday with Will Knaak joining the Waddell Brothers.
The celebration of life is part of a series of community events taking place in Austin from January 26-28.
