- Giddy Ups, a small neighborhood bar in South Austin, is hosting a celebration of life for its late owner, Nancy Morgan, who passed away last October.
- Nearly 30 of Morgan's favorite artists will perform at the event, which aims to continue the old South Austin vibes that Morgan cultivated over three decades.
- Morgan's son, Mike Morgan, will kick off the event with a bluesy Friday night performance, followed by an all-day Saturday event headlined by the Pearl Snaps and the Bently/Casner Band.
- The event will conclude on Sunday with Will Knaak joining the Waddell Brothers.
- The celebration of life is part of a series of community events taking place in Austin from January 26-28.
