Autopsy: Activist Killed By Police At Atlanta "Cop City" Had 57 Gunshot Wounds

An activist protesting the construction of a police training center in Atlanta was shot and killed by police during a raid.
The activist, Manuel Paez Teran, did not have gunpowder residue on their hands according to an autopsy.
Teran had at least 57 gunshot wounds according to the autopsy.
An independent autopsy found that Teran's hands were raised during the shooting, though the official autopsy did not draw conclusions about their body position.
Teran's death has been ruled a homicide and is under investigation.
