Jaylon Johnson wants to sign a contract extension with the Chicago Bears this offseason.
Johnson's absence during the first two weeks of organized team activities was due to spending time with his daughter in California.
Johnson communicated his absence to the coaches and they understood and respected it.
Safety Eddie Jackson and new right guard Nate Davis returned to practice after absences.
Wide receiver Darnell Mooney remains out as he recovers from ankle surgery, and linebacker Jack Sanborn and rookie cornerback Terell Smith also were out.
