Beloved Connecticut pastor struck and killed by police SUV while retrieving mail

Pastor Tommie Jackson was crossing the road after picking up his mail when he was hit.
Officer Zachary Lockwood made an evasive maneuver but still struck Jackson with his police SUV.
Jackson was a pastor at two churches and involved in community outreach.
He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation with no charges filed yet.
