Benadryl Liquid Elixir Recalled Over Child-Resistant Packaging Violation

Arsell Inc. recalls 2,300 bottles sold on Amazon due to non-compliance with safety standards, urging consumers to dispose of the product and request refunds.

The recall involves 100 mL bottles of Benadryl Liquid Elixir sold on Amazon between July 2023 and October 2024 for $16 to $19.
The product's packaging does not meet child-resistant safety standards required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a risk of accidental poisoning in children.
Consumers are advised to secure the product out of children’s reach, dispose of it, and contact Arsell Inc. for a full refund by submitting their Amazon order number and a photo of the discarded product.
No injuries or poisoning incidents have been reported so far, and the recall is being conducted as a precautionary measure.
Other Benadryl products sold in the U.S. and Canada are not affected by this recall and remain safe when used as directed.
