Bengaluru Man Dies in Firecracker Challenge Gone Wrong

A 32-year-old man lost his life after sitting on a firecracker box during a Diwali bet to win an autorickshaw.

Sabarish, the victim, was part of a Diwali night challenge with friends in Bengaluru, where he sat on a box of firecrackers.
The challenge involved winning a new autorickshaw if he successfully sat on the firecracker box without getting hurt.
The incident, caught on CCTV, shows Sabarish's friends lighting the firecracker and running away before the explosion.
Sabarish succumbed to his injuries from the explosion, which caused severe internal damage, and was declared dead on November 2.
Six individuals involved in the incident have been arrested by Bengaluru police and charged with culpable homicide.
