Civic authorities and the Outer Ring Road Companies Association (ORRCA) recently inspected the ORR to identify infrastructure issues and pledged actionable solutions, such as consistent road maintenance and pothole repairs.
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited confirmed that the KR Puram to Silk Board Metro line is on track for completion by June 2026, expected to ease congestion significantly.
Authorities also committed to addressing illegal parking, encroachments, and overnight restoration of dug-up roads to improve traffic flow and commuter convenience.
