Berlin Police Seek Public's Help to Identify Man Found Dead in Canal

Authorities release details of distinctive tattoos on the unidentified man, whose body was discovered in October 2024.

The body of an unidentified man was found in Berlin's Westhafenkanal on October 24, 2024, between Goerdelersteg and Mörschbrücke in Charlottenburg.
The man is described as 30 to 40 years old, 164 cm tall, with short reddish-blond hair and multiple distinctive tattoos.
Tattoos include a male face with a crown of thorns on his chest, a praying woman, praying hands, a rose, and Asian characters on his left arm, and a devil on his right arm.
The Berlin police are urging the public to provide any information that could help identify the man or determine if he matches a missing person report.
