Berlin Swimming Association Partners with Prosecutors to Combat Hate Crimes

The Berlin Swimming Association (BSV) has entered into a formal partnership with the Berlin prosecutor's office to address hate crimes in sports.
The BSV will internally review incidents and forward significant cases directly to prosecutors for swift action.
The prosecutor's office will provide guidance on issues like violence prevention, child protection, and antisemitism to support the initiative.
Similar partnerships have been established with other Berlin sports organizations, including football and karate associations.
A conference titled 'Justice and Sport Together Against Hate Crimes' is planned for April to further strengthen these efforts.
