Bihar Cabinet to Expand with Seven New Ministers Ahead of State Elections

This is the second cabinet expansion under Nitish Kumar's leadership, following a major expansion in March 2024 before the Lok Sabha elections.
The move is seen as a strategic effort to strengthen the BJP-JD(U) alliance's representation and influence ahead of the assembly elections likely to be held in October-November.
