Birmingham firefighter dies days after being shot at station; suspect at large

Firefighter Jordan Melton was shot and killed at a Birmingham fire station in a suspected targeted attack.
Another firefighter, Jamal Jones, was also shot and is recovering from his injuries.
Melton had recently graduated from the recruit academy and served over a year with the fire department.
No arrests have been made yet and authorities are still investigating the shooting.
Melton was described by the Birmingham mayor as vibrant, full of life, and a beloved member of the fire department family.
