Black Sabbath Announces Epic Farewell Festival 'Back to the Beginning'

The legendary metal band will reunite for one final performance with an all-star lineup at Birmingham's Villa Park, with proceeds going to charity.

Black Sabbath's original lineup, including Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, will reunite for their first live performance in two decades, marking their final show together.
The one-day festival, titled 'Back to the Beginning,' will feature performances from iconic metal acts such as Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, and Gojira, among others.
The event will also include collaborations between prominent musicians like Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Slash, Duff McKagan, and members of KoRn and Disturbed, orchestrated by Morello as musical director.
All proceeds from the festival will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice, reflecting the band's commitment to giving back to their hometown of Birmingham.
Tickets for the festival, set to take place on July 5, 2025, at Villa Park, will go on sale on February 14, with additional performers expected to be announced soon.
