Blizzard Discontinues Overwatch 2's Hero Mastery Gauntlet Mode

The cooperative PvE mode will be removed in Season 11 due to low player engagement.

Hero Mastery Gauntlet, introduced in Season 9, involved teams defending towers against enemy bots.
Players have until the end of Season 10 to complete Lifetime Challenges and compete on leaderboards.
Blizzard cites low player engagement as the reason for discontinuing the mode.
Hero Mastery Solo Courses will continue with new content planned for future seasons.
This follows the earlier cancellation of other PvE content, including a promised campaign mode.
