Blue Origin Announces First All-Female Space Crew Featuring Katy Perry and Gayle King

The historic mission, led by Lauren Sánchez, will launch this spring as part of Blue Origin's New Shepard program.

The six-member crew includes Katy Perry, Gayle King, Lauren Sánchez, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn.
This marks the first all-female spaceflight since 1963, when Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova flew solo into space.
The mission, scheduled for spring 2025, will last approximately 11 minutes and take the crew beyond the Kármán line, the boundary of space.
Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos' fiancée, assembled and will lead the team, aiming to inspire future generations through storytelling and exploration.
Blue Origin's reusable New Shepard rocket will autonomously carry the crew, offering them moments of weightlessness and views of Earth.
