Future updates will include support for images, videos, and group messaging.
End-to-end encryption for DMs is planned but not yet available.
Users can control who can message them and report or block others from within the DM feature.
Bluesky's moderation team may access DMs in cases of spam or harassment, with strict internal tracking.
