Brooks Hardie, 22, found dead after kayak capsizes during hunting trip; investigation ongoing

22-year-old Brooks Hardie was found dead in Lake Guntersville, Alabama, after his kayak capsized while he was duck hunting.
Hardie was a recent graduate of Snead State Community College in Boaz, Alabama, where he played baseball.
His body was recovered nearly two days after he was last seen alive.
Hardie was originally from Bremen, Georgia, where he graduated from Bremen High School and was remembered fondly by his former football coach.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
