Body of Missing 4-Year-Old Damari Carter Found in Philadelphia

The decomposed remains of Damari Carter, reported missing in December, were identified in a duffel bag, leading to murder charges against his mother and her boyfriend.

Damari Carter's body was discovered in a duffel bag in Philadelphia's Mantua neighborhood on March 18.
The child was last seen in early December, but was not reported missing until December 30.
DNA testing confirmed the identity of the remains as Damari Carter.
Damari's mother, Dominique Bailey, and her boyfriend, Kevin Spencer, are charged with murder, abuse of a corpse, and other related crimes.
A preliminary hearing for the accused is scheduled for June 18.
